I am the mother of three wonderful daughters ranging in age from 4 to 9. I'll admit, when my oldest was a baby, I didn't shop consignment sales. I don't really know why, but as I have aged (and gotten much wiser), I've discovered that consignment sales are the absolute best way to update my kid's wardrobes with cute, trendy fashions that don't break the bank.
I'm always looking for a bargain, but have discovered that the "bigger" my girls get, the smaller the selection of gently used clothing available. As I was browsing the racks at one of my favorite sales in the Spring of 2010, it occurred to me that I can't be the only one who is disappointed in the selection of clothing for "big kids." Hence, The Beanstalk was born.
